Your weather app knows the city. It doesn’t know you. Pick your Fitzpatrick type in a tap, or, with Pro, let Goldie read it from your camera. Every number in every tab calibrates to it. Sun timing only; it doesn’t diagnose anything.

The UV is always free. Is it safe to sit in the sun with UV Me?
UV Me can't make the sun safe. Nothing can. What it does is tell you the truth about the light you're sitting in: how strong it is right now, how long your skin can take it, and when to cover up or reapply. The numbers it gives you are estimated limits, not targets. You can love the sun and still protect your skin.
How does UV Me calculate my safe sun exposure time?
You set your Fitzpatrick skin type once, and if you're not sure which you are, here's how to find yours. From then on UV Me combines that with the live UV index from the weather station nearest you and the SPF you pick to set your Skin Limit and count down your session, adjusting as the sun moves through the day.
What is a UV dose meter?
Most apps show you a number. UV Me adds up what your skin actually absorbed across the whole day, measured in MED, the minimal dose that reddens your skin, which is different for every skin type. It's the difference between knowing the UV is high and knowing how much of it you've already had.
Does the UV tracker work anywhere, or just at the beach?
Anywhere. UV Me reads the live UV wherever you are: the backyard, the pool, a ski slope, a run at noon. With Pro, the vacation planner pulls the day-by-day UV for any destination before you go, so you can plan your days.
Is UV Me medical advice?
No. UV Me is a sun & skin wellness companion for general education and everyday sun habits. It does not diagnose anything. The skin scan reads your tone, not your health. For anything about your skin's health, see a dermatologist, and read why skin checks matter.
