Our point of view
You can love the sun and still protect your skin. UV Me is for people who live in the light — who want the glow, the beach days, and the lifestyle, without giving up on smart sun care. We're not a warning label. We're a permission slip, with SPF.
What we cover
Every issue spans six worlds: Sun — the science of UV and daily exposure; Skin — knowing and protecting your skin for life; Protection — SPF, how much, and how to actually use it; Beach Style — swim, hats, and what to pack; Beach Beauty — sun-smart makeup and the after-sun glow; and Social — beach culture, trends, and what we're watching and reading.
How we work
Our stories are researched and sourced, and written to inform — never to diagnose. Nothing here is medical advice; for anything specific to your skin, we'll always point you to a dermatologist. When we recommend a product, it's because we'd genuinely reach for it ourselves.
Affiliate transparency
Some links on our site are affiliate links — if you buy through them, UV Me may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, UV Me earns from qualifying purchases. Our recommendations are never for sale: the products we feature are chosen on merit, and our affiliate partners are subject to change at any time. Full details live in our Privacy Policy and Terms.

The company
UV Me is published by UV Me LLC, based in Naples, Florida. UV Me™ is a trademark of UV Me LLC.
The founder
UV Me was founded by Kelly Jones, a Naples, Florida entrepreneur who has spent the last fifteen years working where UV Me lives: on the beach. Before UV Me, she built one of Southwest Florida's leading beach photography studios — thousands of hours photographing families in real Florida sun taught her exactly what a day of high-UV exposure looks like on real skin. She holds a business degree from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, where she serves on the Alumni Board, and her writing on business strategy has appeared in Professional Photographer Magazine, Click Magazine, and The Scout Guide. In 2024 she developed and taught a full-day national business course for Professional Photographers of America. UV Me is her answer to a question she fielded on the beach for years: how do you love the sun and still take care of your skin?
